Mergers & Acquisitions, Sales and Divestitures

The DDK team has handled acquisition assignments for clients interested in either venture capital investments or acquisitions to further their strategic objectives. We have also handled sale assignments for clients for all or part of their company. Transactions have included outright sales, purchases, management-led buyouts, joint ventures, mergers, and divestitures. We maintain complete confidentiality throughout every step of the process working solely on behalf of our clients. The DDK team:

  • Assists in developing the strategy;
  • Identifies and evaluates merger / acquisition opportunities; and,
  • Identifies and qualifies prospective buyers.

The team will:

  • Contact the prospective acquisition targets and handle negotiations on behalf of the client.
  • Prepare an in-depth analysis and valuation of the client company and target; or the client company as a candidate for sale.
  • Prepare the sales memorandum highlighting the strengths of our client;
  • Negotiate terms on behalf of our client;
  • Arrange for financing to complete the transaction, if necessary.
